Who will I be grouped with?
What if I'm interested in more than one major?
Will I get to take my project home?
What are my chances of enrolling if I'm on a waitlist?
This program sounds really cool, but I'm too old/young
to attend. Can I still be involved?

Who will I be grouped with?
We group 5th–6th graders together and 7th–8th graders together. That way, our staff customizes the program experience to each student's grade level. You remain with the same group in Majors. You also remain with the same Leadership Crew through the session. You choose your Club every day and will be with others who have chosen that same Club. When you enroll, you can request to be grouped with at least one friend in your Leadership Crew, if they are in the same grade grouping as you.
What if I'm interested in more than one major?
You can definitely sign up for 2–3 sessions. We encourage you to pursue as many subject areas as you're interested in!
Will I get to take my project home?
In most Majors you will take home some form of your final project (some group projects may need to be shared). The only exception is Lego Robotics since we need to reuse the technology and parts with students in other sessions.
What are my chances of enrolling if I'm on a waitlist?
We encourage students to remain on the waitlist until the program begins in June, since schedules can change, and we do experience cancellations. Our enrollment team will call you as soon as a spot becomes available. You do not need to call in to keep your spot on the waitlist.

Yes, we have volunteer positions for upper level high school students at Galileo Summer Quest and Galileo's other camp programs, Camp Galileo and The Tech Museum Summer Camps. For information on volunteer opportunities visit www.galileoed.com/volunteer.htm.
If you are interested in being a camper, visit www.campgalileo.com (pre kinder – entering 5th graders) or www.thetech.org/summercamps (entering 4th–8th graders) for more information.
Do you serve food?
Students are responsible for bringing their own lunch and snack daily.
